Our law office is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to join our team. Experience in immigration law is preferred; however, we encourage entry-level candidates and recent graduates with a strong interest in the legal field to apply. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist with immigration applications and petitions
- Assist with removal defense cases
- Gather supporting documentation and prepare case packets for filing with USCIS, EOIR, and immigration courts
- Maintain organized case files and track deadlines
- Communicate with clients to obtain required documentation
- Draft letters, forms, and basic legal documents under attorney supervision
- Assist with case status updates and follow-ups
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with immigration forms and case preparation preferred
- Familiarity with USCIS forms
- Experience with removal defense, asylum (I-589), and cancellation of removal (42B) is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
- Experience in a law office environment preferred

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
